What We Host
MPYAA started as a social club for young adults and grew into a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization and community service club. Our calendar reflects both: core events built for young adults, and community events and service projects open to neighbors of every age.
Core Events for Young Adults
For young adults ages 18 to 35, starting with our monthly meetings, where members plan upcoming programs and vote on membership matters. Around those we host karaoke, board game and craft nights, trivia, murder mystery nights, and casual meetups at local spots like Marine Park Coffee.
Free for MPYAA members, with a small cover for guests.
Open Community Events for All Ages
Open to everyone in southern Brooklyn, regardless of age or membership. We host concerts featuring local bands and free outdoor movie nights, including our August 2025 screening on the lawn of the historic Hendrick I. Lott House.
No membership required, and all are welcome.
Volunteer and Service Projects
Open to volunteers of all ages. The Marine Park Litter Pickup Club runs neighborhood cleanups every few months, and we host Street Tree Care Days with NYC Parks through the Super Steward Program.
We also run school-supply collections, coat drives, and donation drives for local families.
Upcoming Events
Join us at our next gathering, all are welcome.
